Southwest Tennessee Community College Receives 12 Marketing Awards
The Communications and Marketing Department at Southwest Tennessee Community College is pleased to announce winning 11 MarCom Awards and one National Conference for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) Medallion Award in the 2013 competitions.
MarCom is an international awards competition that recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals. There were over 6,500 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and several other countries in the competition. MarCom Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
The NCMPR District 2 Medallion Awards is an annual awards' celebration honoring the marketing and communication efforts of community college marketing and public relations professionals.
The MarCom Awards received were three Platinum awards, five Gold awards and three Honorable Mention awards. The Platinum awards recognized excellence for the Southwest 2011-2012 Foundation Annual Report, Industrial Readiness Training video and the Southwest Website. The Gold awards were for Southwest Now Magazine Spring/Summer 2012, Southwest Now Magazine Fall/Winter 2012, Southwest Scoop-Issue 438, Student Handbook/Planner 2012-13, and New Student Orientation 2013 T-shirt.
Southwest received a Gold NCMPR award for the digital version of the college's catalog.
