Safe Zone Project
Southwest Tennessee Community College is committed to the promotion of diversity and equity in our programs and administration. We believe that diversity and equity are important elements of the learning process and that they enhance the educational experience.
The Safe Zone Project is a nationally recognized initiative that promotes an inclusive environment, emotionally and physically safe for LGBTQ students and colleagues. Tameka Perry in the College’s Office of Equity and Compliance is a Safe Zone trained ally available to serve as a source of information and support.
